We started our day with the Sydney Harbor Bridge Climb. We had been looking forward to this event since we arrived in OZ. After all of the briefings and suiting-up ("bridge climb suit up") in special gear, we headed out to the bridge. We spent about 3 hours with our group in total. Jeff was somewhat leery about the climb, being unsure of heights. But we really enjoyed the experience. It was amazing seeing Sydney from a 360 degree viewpoint. We have more pictures from the experience we'll share when we get home.
After a light lunch of kangaroo pizza we climbed more stairs to the Pylon Lookout. From this vantage point on the bridge you can take wonderful pictures of the Sydney skyline (since you can't take your camera on the bridge climb). After this adventure our legs were finished with stairs and we boarded the Sydney Explorer bus for a trip across the Harbor Bridge and back. It was nice to not have a timeline for the rest of the day.
